OUR MISSION
Leveraging our officer and volunteer base of 100+ youth in 20+ countries, the International Youth STEM Society is a global network of young innovators empowering the next generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We break down barriers to STEM education through hands-on workshops, exciting competitions, and personalized mentorship, fostering a vibrant community of young minds.
Join us as we ignite a passion for STEM, cultivate critical thinking skills, and build a brighter future. The International Youth STEM Society is a global movement by youth, for youth and is for everyone, everywhere to become a part of the future of STEM.
OUR STORY
The International Youth STEM Society was first envisioned by Atreya Manaswi, who realized the need for youth and minority exposure to STEM, access to resources, research mentors, financial assistance, and an inclusive, uplifiting learning environment. Atreya was motivated by his very own research journey which began at 12. Struggling to make connections and access resources as a young researcher, he realized the need to change the landscape and create opportunities for anyone and everyone passionate about STEM.
Through his experiences, Atreya has seen that there is more we can be doing to support the next generation of STEM talent. Atreya and the International Youth STEM Society team champion STEM educational equality, instilling students with the belief that they hold the power to impact millions and make groundbreaking scientific discoveries.
OUR INITIATIVES
At the International Youth STEM Society, we are dedicated to increasing accessibility to STEM learning for youth regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, gender, financial status, or any social standings. We conduct workshops, create technical handbooks, publish resources, provide mentorship, host STEM competitions, and so much more to foster interest and innovation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
