Senior Leadership

Aakash Manaswi,
Co-founder & CEO
Aakash Manaswi is a junior at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, FL. Since 7th grade, he has led research in honey bee conservation, developing a novel, eco-friendly CO₂-based treatment for the devastating Varroa mite crisis with the USDA, the University of Florida, and 3M. His work has earned regional, national, and international honors, including the 1st Place Grand Award and the Peggy Scripps Award at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), and a Top 10 Finalist placement in the 3M Young Scientist Challenge naming him one of America's Top 10 Young Scientists. He has been commended by U.S. Senators, the U.S. Secretary of State, and members of Congress, and has presented his work to global leaders at the UN Conference of Parties (COP) 29 & 30. He is published as first author in a high-impact, peer-reviewed journal.

Atreya Manaswi,
Co-founder & CFO
Atreya Manaswi is a Hahn Scholar at Yale University in Connecticut, USA. He has conducted university-level academic research since the age of twelve and has won regional, national, and international awards for his extensive honey bee conservation work. Across his five years in the field, his novel research projects have been funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the University of Florida (UF). An active public speaker, he has been invited to address the United Nations five times. Atreya is published as first author in a high-impact, peer-reviewed scientific journal. He is passionate about sustainability, climate change, agriculture, science, and education, and takes pride in being a youth STEM leader and researcher with a fervent belief in the power of science and in young people's ability to transform our world.

Anvi Nemade,
COO
Anvi Nemade is a senior at Wiregrass Ranch High School in Pasco, Florida. Driven by a passion for materials engineering and chemistry, she has led research in collaboration with the University of Florida to advance thermal management in integrated circuits and semiconductor technology. Anvi's research has earned her the Dr. Nelson Ying Grand Award, the Yale Science & Engineering Association (YSEA) Award, and a spot as a Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) finalist. Beyond her research, Anvi is actively involved in STEM outreach and leadership. She serves as the Florida President of The SPARKk Initiative, helping expand access to STEM education through student-led workshops. She has also contributed to three Guinness World Records in competitive yoga and has been training in Taekwondo since the age of eight.

Meghana Thirumala, Executive Director
Meghana is a sophomore at Evergreen Valley High School. She teaches Telugu at Manabadi, part of Silicon Andhra University, to share Telugu culture and heritage. She has worked with San Jose Tech Interactive to share modern innovations with diverse groups. Meghana is an event coordinator for the Evergreen Blood Cancer Association, where she organizes events to raise awareness about blood cancer. She also volunteers at her local library, leading STEM workshops and reading to children. She served as a digital marketer for Business With Her and currently works as a media director and graphic designer. Meghana dances Bharatanatyam, placing 2nd at the Festival of Globe in 2023 and 2024, and performed on Dance Muqabla in 2024. She is excited to help young minds explore STEM.
Avilash Thilagaselvan, Executive Director
Avilash Thilagaselvan is a Grade 12 student at R.H King Academy in Scarborough, Ontario. He is interested in the fields of immunology and infectious diseases, and hopes to go into medicine someday. Avilash has received awards such as the Youth Role Model Award from the Youth and Parents Association of Markham. In his spare time, he enjoys watching medical shows such as House MD, reading sci-fi novels, and playing football.
Saanvi Srivastava, Executive Director
Saanvi Srivastava is an aspiring IT professional from Frisco, Texas, with a strong foundation in coding and problem-solving. She placed 2nd in the 2024 Digital Divas Hackathon (Advanced Division), where she showcased her coding skills in Python and Java against over 500 participants. Additionally, she secured 8th place in the 2024 Computer Science University Interscholastic League, demonstrating her proficiency in algorithms and logic. Beyond her academic achievements, Saanvi has been playing the violin for over seven years and has a passion for conducting biocomputational research, further reflecting her dedication to both the arts and sciences.
